Kaleidoscope Adapted Art Studio
Thursday Studio Sessions
In partnership with the Center for the Creative Arts in Yorklyn, Delaware, our indoor studio sessions offer low cost art therapy/art education group and individual sessions for children and adults with multiple, mild to severe disabilities and their caregivers in the community.
Paint Parties
Since community engagement may be limited and exposure to creative and social opportunities is vital, we are introducing creative social gatherings to support the implementation of a lifelong leisure interest. Past Paint Parties include:

Community Outings
Our outdoor gatherings at Longwood Gardens, The Delaware Art Museum, Delaware Contemporary, the Philadelphia Flower Show, Carousel Park, and holiday-themed cul-de-sac parties merge art, holidays, and nature experiences, and our Art-Reach family memberships provide low-cost venues for families to receive unique programs within the community.
Virtual Sessions
Early in the pandemic, Art Therapy Express enhanced our virtual Zoom sessions through 3 view projection and enhanced light and sound. We are able to provide sensory-rich learning through overhead close-up hand view demonstrations, full-body views for optimum participant positioning, and a close-up view of the art project to provide focus and enhancement of the learning process.
This program format is available for groups that are unable to attend in-person sessions. Virtual attendance requires a computer, Zoom access, and suggested supplies.
Virtual Sessions can be accessed from anywhere for studio participants, the community at large, nonprofit, and for-profit organizations.

Unleash the artist within this success-oriented, joy-filled creative environment where everyone leaves with a masterpiece and feeling like an artist! Master’s Level Art Therapist, Lisa Bartoli, has over 35 years of experience and introduces a step-by-step painting process in a relaxing environment that puts participants’ self-care first. The workshop provides the simple process, tools, and techniques of blending color, landscape design, and the incorporation of silhouette.
