Kaleidoscope Art Studio: Provide visual and expressive arts programs for Red Clay Consolidated, Christiana and Colonial School Districts, nonprofit organizations and individuals with physical, intellectual and communication disabilities within the community.
School and Hospital Programs: Education of adaptive technology, art media, and expressive arts (drama, music, creative movement) at John G. Leach School, the Meadowood Program (H.B. DuPont Middle School and Dickinson High School, Delaware School for the Deaf, and The Candlelighters Cancer Foundation for Children (children with cancer and in remission).
Open Art Studio: Provide Saturday Open Art Studio sessions for children and adults in the community with physical and intellectual disabilities. Please check with us for additional week day Open Art Studio sessions beginning in the summer.
Evening Art Therapy Sessions: Beginner and advanced art sessions for children and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities and autism.
Summer Art Camps: Provide visual and expressive art camps for children and adults with multiple disabilities.
Conferences: Painting or adaptive technology education workshops (Special Olympics, Delaware Stroke Initiative, MS Society, Delaware Department of Education, Student Association for the Education of Young Children).
Tours, Performances and Experiential Workshops: Provide community outings to the Delaware Art Museum, The Grand Opera House for students in special education programs and non-profit organizations serving individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities. These inclusive art programs include experiences in visual arts, drama, creative movement, music and storytelling between students with disabilities and their non-disabled student peers.
Special projects: Center for Disabilities Studies annual report calendar and cards, Delaware state tree ornaments for Christmas Pageant of Peace in Washington, D.C., Blue Gold Yearbook Cover.
Mobile Summer Art Camps: United Cerebral Palsy (Camp Manito), Delaware Association for the Blind (Camp Sunnybrook), Easter Seals (Camp Fairley Manor).
Painting Workshops: Landscape painting and mixed media art introduction for children and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities Special Olympics, Best Buddies, Delaware Stroke Initiative, M S Society and New Castle County Community Centers.
Wheelchair roller and pogo murals and wheelchair chalk drawing multi-sensory art workshops (John G. Leach School).
After School Programs: Provide programs introducing art as self-expression to the Christiana School District’s REACH Program at Glasgow High School, Christiana High School, Newark High School and The Delaware Autism Program – Brennan School.
Volunteer opportunities: Community members, middle schools, high schools, colleges, Girls/Boys Scouts, etc.
